We believe there is greatness within every young person. To achieve this greatness, the building blocks of an engaging, secure, consistent environment need to be experienced. Young people in care deserve to feel valued, to belong, to be given boundaries, to be heard and to be guided.

Children of the Mangrove is a social movement, striving to deliver the best quality of support and care to young people at different stages of their lives.

At Children of the Mangrove, we inherently believe that the success of a society should be underpinned by how it supports its most vulnerable.

We aim to become part of the fabric of the communities we work in, supporting both staff and young people we work with to achieve their full potential and become positive active members of the wider community.

Our Vision

‘To deliver the most innovative and progressive support and advocacy to young people and families across the country’

History

Children of the Mangrove is a social care company inspired by the social and cultural impact of the Mangrove restaurant and Community Association active in London, Nottinghill for over 30 years during the late 1960s-2000s.
